Seasonal and weekly liturgy planning is done by six teams of 4-6 volunteer parishioners.  We are representative of all who sit in the pews on a Sunday; our focus is on practical, real-life applications of scripture.

Teams meet to reflect on the scriptures for their assigned Sunday.  Based on that reflection notes are written for homilists’ consideration, prayers are selected or written, general intercessions are written, and an ordo form is submitted.  Seasonal planning is done by representatives of each team and the parish staff for Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.

An annual planning schedule is prepared.  Teams meet every six weeks, at a time and place of their choosing.  Meetings are 90 minutes long, in addition to advance preparation and reflection, post-meeting writing, and organization of the ordo.
