The first time your child receives Eucharist is a time of great joy for your family and for us here at St. Francis Xavier Parish.

Two years of preparation is required to receive the sacrament of Eucharist. This sacrament normally is received in the 2nd grade, but we will work with families of older children that come through our program also.

Families are required to attend 3 Parent/Child Prep-Liturgies in preparation for the Sacrament of Eucharist. At the 3rd Prep-Liturgy students will receive their 1st Reconciliation.

Important dates for the 2023- 2024 school year:

1st Prep Liturgy: Sunday, January 7, 2024 1PM - 2PM

2nd Prep Liturgy: Sunday, February 4, 2024 1PM - 2PM

3rd Prep Liturgy and 1st Reconciliation: Sunday, March 10, 2024 1PM - 2:30PM

Rosary Making: Wednesday, April 10, 2024

First Communion Rehearsal: Monday, April 29, 2024 Times: 5PM & 6PM

First Communion Masses: Saturday, May 4, 2024 Times: 11AM MASS & 2PM MASS
