Karen Tegtmeyer Eighth Grade Teacher

Ms. Tegtmeyer earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Teaching and Secondary Education from Marquette University and a Middle School Endorsement from St. Xavier University. She is an Archdiocese of Chicago certified catechist. Prior to teaching at SFX, Ms. Tegtmeyer taught high school English and Literature, as well as Theology, at Catholic high schools in the Milwaukee area. In addition, Ms. Tegtmeyer enjoyed being the Education Director of a learning center. This is her seventh year teaching 8th Grade Language Arts and Literature in Archdiocese of Chicago schools.

Ms. Tegtmeyer enjoys reading, photography, traveling, relaxing outdoors, cheering for the Blackhawks and MU Golden Eagles, and spending time with friends and family- especially her fabulous nieces and nephews.
