TEEN SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
If you're a teen looking for a service opportunity, there is never a shortage of options!
Harvest Saturday! (OCTOBER 4, 2025)
Starting in October, The 120 will begin monthly service projects (sometimes more than just once a month)! On Saturday, The 120 teens are invited to sign up to assist St. John of the Cross Catholic church for their Harvest Saturday event:
What is Harvest Saturday?
"Harvest Saturday is our largest service project of the year—and this year marks its 35th anniversary! This beloved community tradition brings Western Springs together to collect non-perishable food for the pantries at our sharing parishes and throughout the surrounding area.
On Saturday, October 4, every household in Western Springs is invited to place donations on their front porch. Our volunteers will pick them up, pack them, load them onto trucks, and deliver them directly to the food pantries we support. Together, we can make a lasting impact on our neighbors in need."
THIS SERVICE EVENT IS AT ST. JOHN THE CROSS: This means high school teens must have a ride there and back.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FOOD PANTRY SORTING (OCTOBER 25, 2025)
We’re looking for helping hands to organize and sort food for our parish food pantry on October 25th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If you’re available and would like to support this important ministry, we’d love to have you join us! We need about ten people, so this is a first come, first serve opportunity!
High school teens can sign up here!
