Seasons of Hope
Grief Support Group
The loss of a loved one is a time of deep sorrow in life, and grief is expressed in many ways. Seasons of Hope is a faith-based healing program for those who have suffered such a loss. To begin healing does not mean forgetting -- our loved ones will be remembered forever. We can however, deepen our spirituality and faith by reflecting and sharing while being guided toward a path of healing. Our hope will be strengthened in the sure knowledge that one day we all will be reunited with our loved ones.
Seasons of Hope is a six-session bereavement support group designed to help participants navigate the grieving process. Weekly sessions present a faith-based topic and include discussion, prayer, personal reflection and Scripture. There is no obligation to share, and all sharing is held in confidence within the group. Seasons of Hope is facilitated by experienced, caring adults who are familiar with the grief process.
It is suggested that participants allow 3 to 6 months from the time of loss before attending.
Upcoming Dates TBD
All sessions fo Fall 2020 will take place virtually on September 14 through October 26 at 7:00 pm.
