School
Established in 2007 by a group of dedicated parent volunteers, our all-school Service Program exemplifies who we are as a school. Throughout the school year, each grade has a service theme on which to focus its PRAYER, EDUCATION, ACTION and REFLECTION. Students are engaged with people and causes throughout the community to allow our them to fully understand the meaning of service. Not only strengthening the community and helping those in need, this program empowers our students to see the change they can affect.
Guided by the seven principles of Catholic Social Teaching, the themes are:
PK4, K Caring for God's Creations |
Grade 1 Caring for Older Friends |
Grade 2 Children’s Rights & Responsibilities |
Grade 3 Poverty & Homelessness |
Grade 4 Working to End Hunger |
Grade 5 Veterans and Active Duty Service |
Grade 6 Ability Awareness |
Grade 7 Human and Civil Rights |
Grade 8 Social Justice |
